Qatar Shipping Aframax “Umlma” joins Sigma Tankers Pool
May 02, 2012We are happy to announce that Qatar Shipping of Doha Qatar will join the Sigma Pool with their aframax tanker "Umlma" (106,005 mt dwt built in 2006 at Hyundai Shipyard). She will deliver to the pool in the middle of May.
Heidmar and Qatar Shipping have known each other for a number of years and we are happy that Qatar wants to expand this relationship.
The addition of Qatar Shipping will increase the Pool Members to fifteen and strengthen Sigma's position as one of the largest fleets of Aframax and LR2 tankers in the market.
The continued growth of all of the Heidmar pools with first class owners and modern tonnage will allow us to expand the services that we can provide our customers and the benefits that we can provide our pool members, especially in today's challenging market.
Egyptian Tanker Company Join’s Dorado Tankers Pool
April 26, 2012We are pleased to advise that the Egyptian Tanker Company has joined Heidmar's Dorado Tankers Pool with the delivery of the "M/T ETC Nefertari" (49,750 sdwt built in 2011).
With the addition of this vessel, the Dorado Tankers Pool will consist of a fleet of 13 Medium Range and Handysize vessels.
We are delighted to welcome such a valued partner to the Dorado Tankers Pool.
